Pikes Peak
A visit the Pikes Peak is almost mandatory for any visitor to Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum
A great way to learn the history of Colorado Springs area is to visit the Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum. This museum is the only one of its kind that is collected and has interpretations of the history of Colorado Springs and also the Pikes Peak area. Each year well over 50,000 visitors pass through its front doors to learn about what life was like many years and go on the old West, life today, and tomorrow.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
The Cheyenne Mountain zoo is located on over 146 acres of picturesque land, as well is the home of well over 800 animals of almost every kind. Whether they hopped slither or fly they are all exotic. You can visit that rhinos and elephants in encounter Africa for the proud cats in Asian Highlands and even grizzlies in the Rocky Mountains wild exhibition. The zoo hasn't excellent petting zoo, which is called my big backyard, and for a little excitement the whole family can experience fly over the zoo on the Mountaineer sky ride.

The airplane restaurant offers you an adventure in dying that you probably never see anywhere else in the world. Dying in this fully intact Boeing KC 97 tanker that was used for refueling other planes back in the early 1950s. Retired in 2002 it took up permanent residence as aviation restaurant here in Colorado Springs. While you dine you can view memorabilia rare artifacts and many pictures and are taken on to the history of aviation. If you make advanced reservations you and your family can even sit up front in the cockpit and dine.
