You can expect as a summertime destination, higher prices between May and August when it’s hot and children are out of school. For your lowest prices, October through February is the best, especially during holidays. Another best bet for good hotel rates is spring and fall, September-November and March – April. Sights you mustn’t miss
Visit Broadway on the Beach, a 350-acre shopping extravaganza surrounding the 23-acre lake. Wile Mon shops, maybe Dad and the boys will want to check out the Hard Rock Café, or a couple how about Margaretville.
Then of course there’s the famous boardwalk and shops, and the Ferris wheel.
Fun things to do
Lets face it, Myrtle Beach is known for Sun, Sand and Golf. The Grand Stand is the mile-long famous beach. If you’re a golfer, or have never tried, this is a great place to start, with over 100 beautiful courses.

Day Trips
A great adventure is a day at the NASCAR Races at the Myrtle Creek Raceway. Another favorite since the 1950’s is the 1-½ hour ride to South of the Boarder northwest of Myrtle Beach. A fake Mexican Village with its giant towering sombrero, petting zoo and fireworks, this attraction has been a stopping point for vacationers for a long time.
Visit Charleston and Fort Sumter, where the Civil War began, with its old historic buildings, museums and some excellent restaurants.
