Wine and Dine Tips
You’ll find some pretty great possibilities for your dining pleasures in this town. If you’re looking for seafood and steaks, with the possibility of top shelf martini or award winning bottle of wine, then perhaps the Bonefish Grill is the one. Here you find excellent dinner choices, a super bar, and wine selections including Sokol Blosser “Evolution” white and King Estate Pinot Grigio, both Oregon wines. Reds include a terrific Cabernet Sauvignon by Sebastiani in Alexander Valley, CA and Villa Antinori “Super Tuscan” from Italy. The Saltwater Grill is well known as the place for Lobster, Steak and Martinis, and for a good reason. It’s been voted #1 Seafood Restaurant in Panama City Beach for many years. Not only is the food superb, but also you get to dine while looking into a 25,000 gallon, seven foot high tropical saltwater aquarium.
A super restaurant to eat with the kiddies is Schooners, where your children can play on the beach while waiting for the meal. Dining is available for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night. In the evening, you’re rewarded with a fantastic sunset, not so bad prices and entertainment evenings. Both locals as well as visitors rave about the fried oysters, gumbo and Grouper sandwiches.
